9:30 to 11:00 Pencil/ Pastel Class
Learning how to draw is one of the most requested artistic skills that I teach, and knowing how to draw aids in virtually every other artistic endeavor. This is why I offer this class everyday and it is the primary class that I teach. In this class, all my students work on individual projects and move along at a pace that is comfortable for them. They are given the opportunity to choose subjects that are of interest to them and I am there to provide guidance through their artistic journey.
11:00 to 12:30 Watercolor painting
Watercolor is a beautiful translucent painting medium that can be a joy to work with. This will be a guided painting class where students will be introduced to a variety of watercolor techniques such as, working wet on wet , working wet on dry, dry brushing, blotting out, complementary colors, gradients, understanding composition, creating textures.
(The recommended number of classes for painting is 8 or more)
In my classes, each student is an individual and my students are as unique as their art. I love helping my students find their artistic voice.
